Well, these gorgeous flowing heels have made their rounds, flaunted on the red carpet by Ashely Olsen.

They’re a very interesting pair of shoes, sporting a perspex platform, yet woven in an elegance using tulle which can be wrapped up around ankle and tied in a bow.

The tulle is also ruffled at the toe, however sandals are secured by a buckle. They definintely are tulle-embellished!

They’re currently (April 2010) available in black and the blush colour at NET-A-PORTER.

These gorgeous satin pumps by Roger Viver go somewhat against the grain, being part of the Autumm/Winter 2009/2010 collection.

They do look like they’re from smack in the middle of Spring/Summer.

The heart is adorned with crystals around the edges.

Very cute and very playful with loud embellishments, these pink heels sort of scream, “Girls just wanna have fun!

Beatrix Ong’s Spring/Summer 2010 line calls to influences from ancient Greek and Roman mythology and nude paintings by master artists such as Sandro Boticelli. (Boticelli’s better known imagery can be identified from his painting “The Birth of Venus“.)

Beatrix Ong originally designed for Jimmy Choo before stepping out with her own label in 2002.

These gorgeous Angelica heels sport an extended wing embellishment, no doubt inspired by no other than the son and messseger of Zeus: Hermes.

Feminine yet fierce.

Understated can be so sexy, but it’s always fun to have a little bit of rebel in you.

Just like these gorgeous Alexander McQueen Skull Peep-Toe Pumps.

The simple leather peep toe is adorned with a metallic grey skull, which actually sport swarovski crystal eyes and teeth.

These heels could be worn rather cheekily, after all unless one really inspected the peep toe, how would they know?

So continuing our little hearting hearts, we are oooing and ahhing over these gorgeous heart peep toe pumps by Alexander McQueen.

They also came in a hot/flouro pink colour and black with alternate pink or yellow soles.

The heels are currently still available online (January 2010, try Browns or NET-A-PORTER). They’re very summery and playful even with the black contrast.

I really like how the colour of the edge of the sole is still visible right under the ball of foot, showing attention to small details with a flirt of colour.

(Although that detail is not quite visible in the image, and is only really applicable to the black shoes with the pink or yellow sole.)

Who can forget the vicious heels for the sisterly duo Rodarte by Christian Louboutin. These shoes have been sported by the likes of Janet Jackson to Victoria Beckham (who we all know is a Louboutin devotee).

They would surely make someone think twice before trying anything.

I have to admit, I lust when I see these heels regardless of how slighty impratical they might be. I’d still be very willing.

I really like multiple ankle straps and somehow strategically placed mixture of studs and spikes, sporting the signature Louboutin red sole.

These gorgeous, highly embellished heels are a result of floral meets chesterfield collision, in the nicest possible way.

While I’m a fan of ankle straps, I actually think there is enough going on here to do without them, but with 2 inch platforms, one probably needs all the support one can get.

The heart theme seems to be making its rounds with Alexander McQueen. These two-toned heart courts are absolutely gorgeous. Very stylish heels with personality!

I’ve revisted these Salvatore Ferragamo heels several times and I’m still not quite sure.

There’s no doubt the design is distinct, featuring leather petals with metal studs and a contrasting two tone metal spike heel.

The colour makes me think of Autumn/Winter.

(The detail reminds me of fish scales, but more in a Koi sort of a way. Koi in Japanese art and depicted in tattoos has been on the rise in popularity for some time now, so it’s in an artistic way that I think of fish scales rather than the petals. It’s possible the double rubber platform could also come into play.)

Nonetheless, I adore the heel.

So I keep coming back to Charlotte Olympia.

Today it’s her Paloma heels from the Vaudeville line (although it could have just easily been included in Orient Express, even though it is a showgirl kind of shoe).

I didn’t mention it previously, but Charlotte Olympia heels are branded with a gorgeous embellishment on the arch of the soles and if you hadn’t guessed what it was, it’s a spider’s web.
