Who can forget the vicious heels for the sisterly duo Rodarte by Christian Louboutin. These shoes have been sported by the likes of Janet Jackson to Victoria Beckham (who we all know is a Louboutin devotee).

They would surely make someone think twice before trying anything.

I have to admit, I lust when I see these heels regardless of how slighty impratical they might be. I’d still be very willing.

I really like multiple ankle straps and somehow strategically placed mixture of studs and spikes, sporting the signature Louboutin red sole.

A year on, but these Balenciaga ankle booties still look just as good. In fact they’re still available at Yoox.com, as of this addition (November 2009).

They were quite popular, being sported to different events by the likes of Dawn Richard, Ciara and Sarah Jessica Parker.

They also came in different variations, one style featured more silver trim on the front.

The heels look far better on, since shadow of the boot softens the look of the wedge sole, either way I’d say my feet would be quite happy in them.

When I see some of the variations of these heels I can imagine why it probably wasn’t as popular as it could’ve been. There is quite a bit going on, ankle cuffs with open toes and straps that cross over with small buckles.

However when I look at this particular style for some reason I immediately think of Napoleon Bonaparte, an Admiral’s uniform or something slightly regal.

I feel as though I shouldn’t really like them because I’ve always found that colour of gold a bit garish, but I really, really like the cuffs.

As of writing this post (November 2009), surprisingly the heels are actually still available at Flannels and are on sale.

Probably more widely known as the Chanel Gun Shoe, and apparently “The Miami Vice” shoe in the upper echelons of Chanel, this sandal stole the spotlight when Madonna wore them to the premiere of her film “Filth and Wisdom” in late 2008.

The design was a collaboration between Karl Lagerfeld and Laurence Dacade who, before Chanel, also designed for Givenchy.
