So, Love Stiletto likes hearts, as if that wasn’t a teensy bit obvious. We’d prefer to show sexy, fierce, stunning heels, but underneath, we’re just big softies.

We’ve been away for awhile, but promise to be back bigger than ever in 2010, so we hope that everyone had a safe and wonderful holiday period and even more wonderful new year.

The heart theme seems to be making its rounds with Alexander McQueen. These two-toned heart courts are absolutely gorgeous. Very stylish heels with personality!

As of January 2010, these heels are still available at Zappos at 50% off in limited sizes.

So I’m continuing on with my Charlotte Olympia affair.

These heels are called Origami from the Big In Japan line.

I know this is going to come out wrong, and these heels are stunning, but I immediately think of big shoulder pads and teased up 80s hair.

(I could be making some sort of subconscious Deep Purple connection here so that’s entirely my fault. It’s kind of embarrassing and horrifying all at once! That my brain works that way, not that I like Deep Purple!)

Yes, I think these would look incredibly gorgeous with a Galaxy style dress.

Luella’s heart shoe collaboration with Georgina Goodman was hard to resist from the Spring 2009 collection.

It’s kind of like pastel candies meets the 1950s.

I’m usually not one for pastel colours but these shoes are really, too cute!

It’s actually a shame that these images don’t show the rear of the shoe.

The ankle strap version has a die cut/hole punch/cut out like heart shape at the rear of the shoe.

I prefer those to the t-bar version, but they’re all georgeous nonetheless.

Luella Bartley first debuted her collection in the Spring/Summer 2000 season.

Unfortunately earlier this month (November 2009) Luella announced that it had ceased trading due to the withdrawal of it’s current backer and are now seeking a new one, although they are currently exploring their available options.

I’m sure that regardless of the outcome this won’t be last we see of Luella.

This shoe caused a bit of furore when it hit the catwalk.

John Galliano’s enthusiasm of depicting his African experience through sandals that sport a minature African Fertility Goddess as the heel wasn’t exactly shared by all.

Perhaps instead of looking at it as stepping on the Goddess, she could be uplifting… Though a bit hard I’d imagine when one is pregnant!

Oh well, what is fashion and art if it isn’t subjective…

Marion Cotillard wore the Deese Sandals to the Bike In Style event in New York earlier this year (June 2009).

These gorgeous platform pumps are a sort herringbone inspired pattern meets giant checks.

A  funky twist on classic look, which is the sort of style you’d expect from Gwen Stefani.

I just couldn’t resist these bright orange heel reminding us of pumpkins on All Hallow’s Eve. The KG Eleanor Courts sport a gorgeous metallic heel.

I love that high heels are back with a vengeance!

Goodness, my heart did a little flip-flop over these heels.

I am not usually someone for pink, although I admit for awhile I had an obsession with fuschia during its short stint as all the rage.

Georgina Goodman’s Hilde heels kind of scream “Look at me!”, all the while, not really caring. It’s almost like the bad boy you really can’t help but want.

There is also a little winged embellishment on the rear. It’s unusual, but I think they’d still be great without it.

Personally it’s the detail of the black going into the pink on heel that I really like. (Not to mention the candy-striped sole.)

It also came in a black & red.

ZU is an interesting brand, since it’s not very often that you can buy decent leather shoes for under $100.

Melody is a bit of classic, retro and vintage roled into the one shoe. I can imagine getting away with this in an office (depending on what sort of office you work in), and still being able to wear them out for after work drinks.

It also comes in a full black.

Bathe you feet in a fiery inferno!

These Jimmy Choo’s are surely a bit devilish.

I have a feeling these suede ankle boots are just in time for Halloween!

Sorry Ladies, not exactly foot-friendly; however probably a much lovelier way of celebrating a bit of foot fetish or shoe worship.

Champagne producer Piper-Heidsieck has teamed up with Christian Louboutin to pay tribute to a French ritual of drinking champagne from a shoe.

If it has to be a shoe, then it may as well be a Louboutin!
